WOOD AND WOOD VENEER:

Wood is an organic, porous material that exhibits natural variations in texture, including fine indentations and cracks. The color and grain of wood pieces may also vary, featuring visible knots and burls. Solid wood responds to environmental humidity and temperature changes, and over time, natural cracks may develop. To maintain the beauty and longevity of your furniture:

  • Dust frequently with a clean, damp, lint-free cloth.
  • Use an appropriate wood furniture cleaner in the direction of the wood grain, followed by a dry lint-free cloth if needed.
  • Avoid exposing furniture to strong sunlight, heat outlets, open windows, or dampness, as these can cause fading, cracking, or splitting.
  • Do not place hot items directly onto wooden surfaces.
  • Avoid exposure to liquids, and never allow water to sit on the table.
  • Take care with substances like alcohol, nail polish, and perfume, as they can damage the finish.
  • Small marks and scratches may be touched up or covered with a marker or touch-up stick.
